The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in strength within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team access locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the other eight players to form the Questers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
